When an arc fault occurs in a circuit, the arc emits spectral signals covering multiple wavelength regions, including ultraviolet, visible and infrared. By receiving these signals accurately and using advanced algorithms for data processing and analysis, the detector can accurately determine the type, position and size of arc and other detailed parameters.
